How to export survey monkey data to Excel for free

SurveyMonkey is an online survey platform that enables users to create, distribute, and analyze surveys to collect valuable feedback and insights from respondents, helping to make informed decisions. SurveyMonkey provides basic analysis tools, and exporting the data to Excel allows for more in-depth analysis. Excel offers a wide range of functions, formulas, and data manipulation capabilities that enable you to perform complex calculations, generate statistical insights, and uncover trends and patterns in survey data.

Therefore, Exporting survey results to Excel expands the analytical capabilities, offers customization options, facilitates data integration, and ensures data backup and storage.  Although, downloading the survey data is free of cost but this feature is only available in the paid version of the SurveyMonkey account. In this tutorial, we will learn how to export survey monkey data to Excel. The major steps are given below;

Step 1 – Go to analyze section 

– Open the Survey Monkey main dashboard, after logging into your personal account.
– Click on Analyze Results tab.
– As soon as you press the analyze results tab, a new dashboard appears, as shown above;

Step 2 – Click on Export All 

– Click on the Export All button.
– A drop down menu will appear.
– If you want to export a summary of all the data. Click on “All Summary Data”. As shown below;

Step 3 – Export all summary data

– Click on the Export All button.
– A dropdown menu will appear.
– If you want to export a summary of all the data. Click on “All Summary Data”, and a new dialogue box will appear.
– Select the format of XLS to export data in Excel. There are multiple other formats available, you can choose those as per your requirements.
– Click on the Export Button at the right bottom corner. As shown above;

Step 4 – Export All Responses Data

– Click on the Export All button.
– A dropdown menu will appear.
– If you want to export a summary of all the data. Click on “All Responses Data”, and a new dialogue box will appear.
– Select the format of XLS, and XLS+ to export data in Excel. There are multiple other formats available, you can choose those as per your requirements.
– Click on the Export Button at the right bottom corner. As shown above;

Step 5 – Export Individual responses

– Click on the Export All button.
– A dropdown menu will appear.
– If you want to export a summary of all the data. Click on “All Individual Responses” , and a new dialogue box will appear.
– Select the individual response from the given data.
– Click on the Export Button in the right corner.
– Select the format and the file will be downloaded, as shown above;
