When you don’t need to use data validation, you can remove it while not affecting the cells.
Step 1 – Highlight the cells and click on Data and Validation under the Data tab.
As an example, data validation has been applied on column B, where a drop down list is sticking out on Cell B2.
Step 2 – Click Clear All
Clear All means that the drop down list will be removed on all the selected cells.
Step 3 – Click OK
Clicking OK will apply the action.
