How to Paste Without Formatting in Excel

Suppose we have the following dataset above & we want to paste it without its formatting.
Method 1 – Paste Special Dialog Box
Step 1 – Select Data
- Select data which you want to paste to another location.
Step 2 – Copy The Data
- Right click on the selection and select copy or select data & press CTRL + C on your keyboard.
Step 3 – Use Paste Special Options
- Now select the cell where you want to paste your data (cell F1 for our example).
- Right click on the cell & click Paste Special.
- Select Values & click OK button.
Step 4 – Data Pasted Without Formatting
- Through this method you can paste your data to the desired location.
Method 2 – Paste Without Formatting Using Shortcut Key
Step 1 – Select Data
- Select data which you want to paste to another location.
- Press CTRL + C on your keyboard to copy it.
Step 2 – Use Shortcut Key for Paste Special Options
- Now select the cell where you want to paste your data (cell F1 for our example).
- Press CTRL + ALT + V. Paste Special dialog box will appear on your screen.
- Select Values & click OK button.
Step 3 – Values Pasted To Into New Cells
- Using this shortcut key, you can paste values in your worksheet.
Method 3 – Paste Button
Step 1 – Select Data
- Select data which you want to paste to another location.
- Press CTRL + C on your keyboard to copy it.
Step 2 – Use Paste button options
- Select the cell where you want to paste your data (cell F1 for our example).
- At the Home Tab, in the clipboard group; press the Paste button.
- Select the Values button.
- All the values in the table will be pasted to Cell F1 to H4.
Step 3 – Values Pasted Into New Cell
- All the values will be pasted into the new cell.
