How to make a list of numbers in Excel

You have a table of data and you would like to add a list of numbers to it.
There’s an easy way to do this:
Step 1 – Creating your list
– Select the cell that you want to start your list in.
– Type 1.
– Select the cell again and drag your mouse down to the end of your range.
– A window will appear showing either increasing numbers, or just a 1.
– If it stays a 1, then hold Ctrl before releasing the mouse button.
– A list of increasing numbers will have been created.
This is an easy way to make a list of numbers in Excel without using VBA.
