How to fill a column in Excel
Excel offers a very interesting way to fill a column. We can cater to this problem statement by using CTRL, SHIFT and Down Arrow keys. We can perform the below mentioned way to fill a column in excel:

To do this yourself, please follow the steps described below;
Step 1 – Excel workbook with a column with a number at the top
– Open the desired Excel workbook which contains a column populated with a number at the top which can be filled in the entire column
Step 2 – Selecting the entire column
– Now copy the cell with the number and then press “CTRL + SHIFT + DOWN ARROW KEY”, and then paste the number by pressing “CTRL + V” on your keyboard.
Step 3 – Column filled
– We can see the column has been filled with the same number
