How to copy horizontal and paste vertical in excel

Let’s assume you want to transform your row into a column. In Excel you can do that thanks to the “transpose” feature. It is useful, for example, when you have a product/period table and you want to change it into a period/product view. To copy horizontal and paste vertical in Excel proceed as follows.
Step 1 – Select the rows you want to transpose
– Select all the rows you want to move vertically;
– Press “ctrl” + “c” to copy the selection.
Step 2 – Transpose the selected rows
– Select a cell where you want to copy vertically the selected rows;
– Locate the “paste” options menu on the toolbar;
– Click on the black arrow to open the “paste” dialog menu;
– Select “paste transpose” to paste vertically the selected rows.
