How to convert minutes into hours in Excel

It happens sometimes that a duration is presented in minutes, for example for a movie or for a convention. You can easily convert this info from minutes into hours in Excel following the below steps.
Step 1 – Select the cell where to insert the conversion
– Select the cell by clicking on it or with the keyboard arrows. A good choice can be to select the cell near the one you want to convert.
Step 2 – Convert minutes into hours
– Inside the selected cell write “=” to let the tool understand you want to insert a function;
– Select the first cell you want to convert adding it to the function;
– Write “/” as divider operator;
– Write “60” considering that every hour is composed by 60 minutes;
– Press enter to confirm the function.
