Step 1 – Excel workbook with a column with some names
– Open the desired Excel workbook which contains a column populated with some names, which can be filtered
Step 2 – Filter option
– Now under the “Data” ribbon in the menu bar click “Filter” as shown in the image above
Step 3 – Filters applied
– Now click on the drop down option in the column header and select the respective names and click “OK”
Step 4 – Names filtered
– We can see that the names have been filtered
