Google Sheets offer a very interesting way to copy format. We can cater to this problem statement by using the paste special option. We can perform the below mentioned way to copy format in google sheets:

To do this yourself, please follow the steps described below;
Step 1 – Google sheet with a formatted and a normal text
– Open the desired Google sheets containing a a cell with desired format and a cell with no formatting as shown in the image above
Step 2 – Paste special option
– Now copy the cell with the desired formatting and then go to the cell without formatting and then right click, and then under the “Paste Special” option select the “Format only” option.
Step 3 – Format copied
– We can see that the format has been copied
