How to make header row in Google Sheets

When creating a table in Google Sheets, it is very important to add a header row. A header row contains the names of all the columns and is important so that the viewers of the table know what the data in each column represents.
Step 1 – Insert a row
– Select the first row
– Right-click and select Insert 1 row above from the context menu
Step 2 – Type the names
– In each column, type the name of the column to describe the data in it
Step 3 – Format the header
– Use the Fill color and Borders buttons on the ribbon to format the header row
